The two-sport collegiate athlete returns for her second season after a standout freshman year at Governors State, where she started every match and ranked third in minutes played.
A former All-Area pick at Beecher High School, Dillinger brings defensive grit to a young Steel City squad entering the women’s semi-pro ranks.

Bre Herlihy is a two-time All-Stater - 50 goals and 33 assists places her second-all time in scoring at Lincoln-Way East.
She’s already making noise at the next level too, racking up 5 goals and 8 assists as a freshman at DII Ferrum College, powering the program’s winningest season ever.

Third in goals+assists for us last season. 17 appearances as a freshman for IU Northwest in their best season ever. Scored a filthy first-time volley vs IU South Bend. Won an Indiana State Cup with NWI Lions in ECNL E64.

No nonsense and fearless in goal – Steel City Women kept three clean sheets in eight league matches last season.
A Wisconsin-Parkside product, Gross currently resides in Plainfield and coaches the next generation at Legacy SC while pushing through grad school in physical therapy.
🏴☠️Norah Hagler
Steel City just got more dangerous, adding creativity with firepower up front. A #10, Norah pulls the strings and buries chances herself. An All-American nominee, she scored 15 goals in 10 matches for Harper College in ’23.
Before that? She was a force at Conant - a multi-sport athlete who competed in volleyball, soccer, and cheer. She’s athletic, tough and talented.
Do you like goals? The multi-sport athlete tallied 108 goals and 63 assists in 65 games for Herscher HS.
She led Steel City with 3 goals and 1 assist in '24.
She was named Daily Journal Player of the Year. Borschnack played for Evolution SC and Indy Premier SC and is attending Indiana Southern.
Accolades wherever Grace goes; Governors State University's Student Athlete Award in '24 and Ms. Leatherneck at Western Illinois in '21.
She tied for Steel City goal leader in '24 with three goals.
The Lincoln-Way Central standout is majoring in sports psychology and tallied 4G and 3A for GSU this year.
The Lake Central graduate from St. John, Indiana is fresh from an Indiana State Cup championship with NWI Lions in the ECNL E64 league.
Church tallied a goal and assist in '24.
Church will be attending Indiana University Northwest, studying business and computer science.
Beecher High School's Defensive Player of the Year was an All-Area selection.
Dillinger attends Governors State University striving to become a special needs educator and speech language pathologist. Dillinger is the assistant coach for Beecher Girls.
Gillian provides attacking spark! She will be attending the University of South Carolina Aiken, after a club career that included Galaxy SC and Sockers.
Gillian, Oswego HS's all-attacking MVP was an all conference selection.
Kaput anchors the defense. The Plainfield native was ESCC Conference Defender of the Year while at University of Parkside.
She was a two-time all-stater at Joliet Academy and played club at legendary Galaxy.
The Shorewood native plays club at University of Alabama. She was Joliet Catholic Academy's Scholar Athlete Award winner in '21.
The league is a stern test for the 16-year old from Kankakee. Sanchez accumulated accolades for the Kays in '23: All Area, MVP, Golden Boot and Freshman of the Year.
Tessa Kowalski earned the clean sheet on the team's all-time debut.
The Tinley Park High School graduate starred for Legacy and Ignite soccer clubs before joining Olivet Nazarene University.
Maricruz will always have the distinction of netting the late game-winner in Steel City's home opening 4-3 victory. Landeros captained Proviso East HS in Maywood.
A rare combination of goalkeeper and defender, Barriga is a NJCAA All-Academic first teamer at College of DuPage.
The Daily Journal's 2x All-Area and 3x All-Conference player stared for Kankakee High School.
The Kenosha native played at University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Kelsey will be attending graduate school for physical therapy in addition to keeping balls out of the back-of-the-net for Steel City FC.
The Bradley Bourbonnais standout with All-Conference honors plans to major in civil engineering and spanish.
